WORSHIP

These ministries assure the planning, preparation, and coordination of many aspects of worship.  Their goal is to enhance the prayer life of the parish by providing meaningful liturgical support that is uplifting, enriching and sacred.

LITURGY:

These ministries assure the planning, preparation, and coordination of many aspects of our liturgical worship.  Their goal is to enhance the prayer life of the parish by providing meaningful liturgical support that is uplifting, enriching and sacred.

MUSIC:

Provides liturgical approved hymns and instrumental renditions for enhancement of worship.  The Choir is open to all ages.

EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS of HOLY COMMUNION (EMHC):

EMHC support the special celebrations of the Blessed Sacrament by distributing Holy Communion during Mass. They also take Communion to the sick and shut ins.  Special training is provided for this ministry and all are welcome to participate. There are 2 requirements to serve: You should have received the sacrament of Confirmation and, if  married, it should be a sacramental marriage.

LECTORS / READERS:

Readers and Lectors proclaim God's message by public reading of the Scriptures during the liturgy.  The Sacrament of Confirmation should be a pre requisite.  Training and guidance are provided.

ALTAR SERVERS:

Children (once they've received their 1st Holy Communion) are encouraged to seek training to serve during Liturgical services, primarily Sunday Mass.

SACRISTANS:

Volunteers are trained responsible for the preparations and care of the altar cloths and small linens used at the altar during Mass.  This group also provides flowers and plant care for the Church area and decorations for the changing liturgical seasons.

​

USHERS & GREETERS:

Serves as Ministers of hospitality, welcoming guest, encouraging people to fill pews, and ringing of the tower bell.  After Mass they distribute bulletins, tidy up, turn off air conditioning, lights and microphones. All members, men. women & youths of the parish are invited to join.
