Announcements:

Thank you to all who are working the Yard Sale. It is sure to be a HUGE success and we couldn't do it without the volunteers who have put in so much time and energy getting everything ready. Kudos! Please come out Friday and Saturday to support the Yard Sale.

Religious education classes begin on Sunday (9-10-23) for grades K-12. Parents, please bring your children to the religious education building by 10:15 AM. Classes will be over at 11:15 AM. As a reminder, you drive up from church to the religious ed building and out to Hwy 61.

The calendar has been updated to include the Men's Group Dinner and Meeting on Thursday, September 14 at 6:00 PM. Additionally, the Men's Group is holding a spaghetti dinner on Sunday, September 17 at 5:00 PM. Tickets need to be purchased by September 10 for the spaghetti dinner. See the bulletin for more details.

There is an attachment for the Access Oak Ridge Fair, which is being held Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Oak Ridge Civic Center & Senior Center.

Access Oak Ridge: Creating Community for All Abilities is a resource and awareness event co-hosted by the City of Oak Ridge, Periodic Tables, and the United Way of Anderson County. The fair has the dual goals of providing resource information to people with disabilities and their loved ones and inviting members of the community to have fun while learning about people living with disabilities, their accomplishments and how we can plan communities so that all can live, work, and play to their full potential. There will be 50 vendors, 20 demonstrations, 10 speakers, art, music, free food, games, prizes and more. We extend a special invitation to the faith community and hope this opportunity will provide information and inspiration to better serve our neighbors. It’s going to be an amazing event!
